In 2023, as an ordinary user I supported the Moderators' Strike to protect Stack Overflow and its sister websites from their owners. The strike was mostly about countering the loosening of anti-AI-generated-content policies. The strike triggered a round of negotiations that ended with a significant victory of the striking moderators.
